1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to MyInfo.lk and the MyInfo mobile application (collectively, the “Service”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and WebAppLK (Pvt) Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a registered company in Sri Lanka (Registration Number: PV00339292, D-U-N-S Number: 561799728).
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Service.

2. Description of Service
MyInfo.lk is a comprehensive telephone directory and business listing platform that provides:
2.1 Core Services
- Business Listings: Directory of places including shops, hotels, restaurants, and other establishments with contact numbers and location information
- Real Estate Listings: Property listings with contact details
- Skilled Workers Directory: Contact information for skilled professionals and tradespeople
- Vehicle Services: Listings for vehicles for hire, rent, and sale
- Job Listings: Employment opportunities and contact information
- Event Listings: Information about events and related contacts
- Map Integration: Location-based services with map integration showing business locations
2.2 Listing Services
- Standard listing fee: LKR 400 per listing
- Listings are added by authorized Sales Representatives who meet with advertisers
- Each listing includes business name, category, contact number, address, and location on map
2.3 Sales Representative Program
- Referral system for Sales Representatives
- Commission structure based on listings added
- Performance tracking and payment processing
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3.2 Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must not share your account credentials with others
- You must not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
- You must keep your contact information up to date
3.3 Account Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time through our Account Deletion Request page
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease
4. Listings and Content
4.1 Listing Requirements
- All listings must contain accurate and truthful information
- Contact numbers must be valid and operational
- Business information must be current and verifiable
- Listings must comply with applicable laws and regulations
4.2 Prohibited Content
You may not post listings or content that:
- Contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains offensive, obscene, or defamatory material
- Promotes illegal activities or services
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Violates any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Contains spam or unsolicited advertising
4.3 Content Ownership
- You retain ownership of the content you submit
- By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content on our platform
- We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms
4.4 Content Accuracy
- We do not verify the accuracy of all listings
- Users are responsible for verifying information before relying on it
- We are not liable for errors or omissions in listings
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Listing Fees
- Standard listing fee: LKR 400 per listing
- Fees are non-refundable once a listing is published
- Payment must be made before listing activation
- We reserve the right to change fees with 30 days’ notice
5.2 Payment Methods
- Payments are processed through authorized Sales Representatives
- We accept cash payments to Sales Representatives
- Sales Representatives provide receipts for all transactions
5.3 Refund Policy
- Listing fees are generally non-refundable
- Refunds may be considered in cases of service errors or technical failures
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment
- All refund requests are subject to review and approval
6. Sales Representative Terms
6.1 Authorization
- Sales Representatives must be authorized by WebAppLK (Pvt) Ltd
- Representatives act as independent contractors, not employees
- Representatives must comply with all company policies and procedures
6.2 Commission Structure
- Commissions are paid on successfully published listings
- Commission rates are defined in separate Sales Representative agreements
- Payments are processed according to the agreed schedule
- Commissions may be withheld for fraudulent or non-compliant activities
6.3 Referral Program
- Sales Representatives may participate in the referral program
- Referral commissions are paid for valid listings generated through referrals
- Referral terms are subject to change with notice
- Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals are prohibited
6.4 Representative Responsibilities
- Meet with advertisers to verify information
- Collect accurate listing details
- Process payments properly and provide receipts
- Maintain professional conduct with clients
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 Our Intellectual Property
- The Service, including its design, features, functionality, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by WebAppLK (Pvt) Ltd
- Our trademarks, including “MyInfo” and “MyInfo.lk,” are protected
- You may not use our intellectual property without written permission
7.2 User Content License
- You grant us a license to use content you submit
- This license includes the right to display, distribute, and modify content as necessary for the Service
- You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license
7.3 Copyright Infringement
- We respect intellectual property rights
- If you believe content infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected]
- We will investigate and take appropriate action
8. User Conduct
8.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Transmit harmful or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Collect user information without consent
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Post false or misleading information
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
8.2 Prohibited Activities
- Scraping or data mining without permission
- Creating fake listings or reviews
- Manipulating search rankings or visibility
- Reselling access to the Service
- Using the Service for competitive purposes
- Reverse engineering the Service
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
9.1 Service “As Is”
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of listings
- We are not responsible for errors or omissions in user-submitted content
- Users should verify information independently
9.3 Third-Party Content
- We are not responsible for third-party content, websites, or services
- Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only
- We do not endorse third-party products or services
9.4 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEBAPPLK (PVT) LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content
- Statements or conduct of third parties on the Service
- Any other matter relating to the Service
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR LKR 10,000, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WebAppLK (Pvt) Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your content or listings
- Your conduct in connection with the Service
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11.2 Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
11.3 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
11.4 Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to arbitration in accordance with Sri Lankan arbitration law.
12. Modifications to Service and Terms
12.1 Service Changes
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
- We may change features, functionality, or pricing with notice
- We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation
12.2 Terms Changes
- We may update these Terms from time to time
- We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms
- Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using the Service
13. Termination
13.1 Termination by You
- You may terminate your account at any time through our Account Deletion Request page
- You remain responsible for all fees incurred before termination
13.2 Termination by Us
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse of the Service
- Non-payment of fees
- Any other reason at our discretion
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- We may delete your account and content
- You remain liable for any outstanding obligations
- Provisions that should survive termination remain in effect
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and WebAppLK (Pvt) Ltd regarding the Service.
15.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
15.5 No Agency
No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created between you and us as a result of these Terms or your use of the Service.
15.6 Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
15.7 Language
These Terms are provided in English and Sinhala. In case of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.

17. Acknowledgment
BY USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
